Teas

A decent tea is vital to a cricket match, but they don't happen by magic; they have to be made. In past years, a few stalwarts have produced most of the teas. It's time for more players to do their share, and if you're an associate member looking for an easy way to make a real contribution, read on......

Each season, a team plays about 10 home games. Simply put, that means if everyone in each XI  volunteered to do one tea, we'd have more than enough. It's not difficult - and there is a complete guide below to help you. You will get the money back (but see details for budget limits). And your efforts will be deeply appreciated by your team-mates.

Check the tea rota here or on the noticeboard in the pavilion. If you can help, ring your skipper or sign up on the tea rota in the club. Or get in touch with any member of the committee.

Here are some handy hints to make that tea as easy as possible.
