20 Jul 2010 : U11 GUARD OF HONOUR
On July 16th twelve of HWCC's more excited U11s led by Alistair Waddington travelled to the Rose Bowl to take part in a series of bowling, batting and fielding drills as a curtain raiser to the Hampshire v Middlesex T20 match. The U11s then won a target bowling comeptition and were invited to form a guard of honour for the players as they came on to the pitch. The orange T shirts they were given certainly showed up well on the Sky Sports coverage!
20 Jul 2010 : GREENFIELDS SCHOOL SCOOP THE PRIZES
The Chance to Shine summer term programme finished on Monday July 19th with a six a side Tournament on the green. Greenfields School took first and second places in the Tournament. The day included teams from Elvetham Heath, Hook Junior, Four Lanes Community School and two wandering sides. We look forward to the possibility of further funding next year to keep the programme going.
20 Jul 2010 : ECB ACO LEVEL 1 SCORER
HWCC now has an approved ECB Association of Cricket Officials(ACO) Scorer after Colin Charlton successfully completed the Level One Correspondence Course.
12 Jul 2010 : ON THE OCHE
This Summer see's darts come to the club on a Monday night, with the club having entered a team into the Odiham & District League.
We are in Division One, god only knows how, and will play a total of 8 games starting from Monday 12th July.
Home fixtures are as follows:
19th July v Old White Hart
2nd August v Bell A
16th August v Black Horse
6th September v Hawley Bridge B
So if you want to support the team, or ridicule them, come along.
If you are interested in playing speak to The Taxman (aka Colin Charlton), but be warned in can be a costly experience!
12 Jul 2010 : UNBEATEN UNDER 9s
The HWCC U9A team has crowned an excellent season with a good win over Basingstoke to win the league with seven wins from seven games played.
11 Jul 2010 : NEW INVESTORS POSE FOR THE CAMERA
The club received a visit yesterday from two potential wealthy investors. Pictured are Sheik Your Bits and Osama Bin Liner - both carrying samples from their oil fields. They were accompanied by their Swiss Banking Adviser who would not comment to this reporter, however in answer to a question Osama said "we have been looking to buy a football club for some time."
Further discussions will be held at a later date!

31 May 2010 : U9s WIN HAMBLEDON TOURNAMENT
Hartley Wintney's U9s have won the Hambledon 8-a-side tournament held on Bank Holiday Monday narrowly beating the hosts in a tense final. Huge congratulations to the team who played superbly and were unbeaten all day, and especially to those players that were in the last year's team which also reached the final but lost to the same opposition.
